This is the second post in Carla’s story. I suggest starting with the first: https://www.crazycatnerd.com/blog/sims-4-stories-carlas-story-post-1

Carla loved people and she missed her old friends. Talking to them online just wasn’t the same. She needed to find new local friends to hang out with. She hoped she’d find some at school.

Carla’s family spent a lot of time together, even when they weren’t interacting with each other. The computer was in the living room so while Carla chatted with friends, Jon was near by reading. And Melissa did her homework at the dining room table.

Carla spent a lot of time with her sister, Melissa. She really liked Melissa’s company. Her sister was smart and creative. They enjoyed watching movies together after school.

In fact, one could argue that they could have benefited from more alone time and privacy. There is such a thing as too much togetherness. For example, Melissa could sometimes be found doing her homework at Carla’s desk even when Carla was trying to take a nap.

As you may recall, they moved to Brindleton Bay because Jon was offered a teaching position. He has been doing great in his new position and has already received a promotion. Like Carla and Melissa, he brings home his own homework from school which he also completes at the dining room table.

Just like last time, we see life is almost perfect in Carla’s home. If only she could make some new friends…
