Sims 4 Stories: Carla's Story, Post #4
/Carla’s story begins here: https://www.crazycatnerd.com/blog/sims-4-stories-carlas-story-post-1
When we last left off, it was Harvestfest time in the Coronado household. While the Grand Meal was cooking, Jon graded some papers for work and Carla studied acting.
Jon’s first attempt at a Harvestfest Grand Meal was…an attempt. Hopefully next year he’ll manage to do better. His cooking skills are improving, but he should probably stick to simpler fare.
Carla was feeling slightly annoyed by this, and then guilty because she was annoyed. She appreciated her father was trying, but the food was really quite bad. But she was expected to be polite about it because that was what her family did. This made her annoyed.
Carla thought Melissa was one of the most polite kids she had ever met. Yet, after dinner, as she often did, Carla’s mother gave Melissa lessons in manners. Carla had been subjected to them as well. Carla appreciated the benefits of good manners, but she thought her mom overdid it.
What Carla didn’t realize, and what her family would soon figure out, was that she was going through a bit of a teenage rebellion phase. She was so annoyed that she went upstairs and listened to some angry music at a rather loud volume.
When it was it was time for Melissa to go to bed, Carla’s mom asked her to turn down the music. Carla complied, but promptly left the house.
Carla had no idea where she was going. She didn’t much care.
A list of things I anticipate seeing in the Sims 4 Journey to Batuu DLC, when I finally get to play it, based on my experiences in Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World.
