Sims 4 Stories: Carla's Story, Post #3
/The beginning of Carla’s Story is here: https://www.crazycatnerd.com/blog/sims-4-stories-carlas-story-post-1. The house is not mine. It is by LilSimsie and can be found in the gallery!
The Coronado family discussed their Harvestfest plans over a lunch of grilled cheese sandwiches. Melissa, being in a bit of a phase, requested a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and then asked to be excused from the table early after only eating half of it.
They decided to keep things pretty low key this year since they just moved. They decided they would put up a few decorations, but not many. Jon was looking forward to cooking his first Harvestfest meal since he started to teach himself how to cook. Melissa was most looking forward to seeing the gnomes. Carla enjoyed the feel of the holiday. The atmosphere of family, loving, kindness, cozy weather, gratitude…it spoke to her.
The Coronado household would often be filled with music as Sasha practiced playing her guitar and writing songs. It added more warmth and energy to the house that benefited everyone. This time of the year it was particularly lovely.
During a family breakfast, they discussed Carla’s future career path. She was trying to decide what things she should study in preparation for attending a university someday. When she told her parents she wanted to be an actress, they were both supportive and pleased with her creative decision.
Harvestfest arrived and they put up a few decorations. Jon made a light breakfast for everyone before beginning preparations for his first grand Harvestfest meal.
Melissa was so excited when the gnomes finally arrived. On her first attempt, she appeased a gnome with her offering! She was so surprised and delighted. Her face was priceless! She ran around with offerings for the other gnomes. She managed to please all of them on her first attempt, so there were no broken appliances this year. There were also plenty of seeds strewn about the house. Melissa made Jon promise they would start a garden outside in the spring.
What do you think of the story so far? I know it’s a bit drama-free at moment, but it is coming, I promise. Are these posts too short? Too long? Just right? Let me know in the comments!
A list of things I anticipate seeing in the Sims 4 Journey to Batuu DLC, when I finally get to play it, based on my experiences in Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World.
