Leuchtturm1917

The only notebook I use for bullet journaling is the Leuchtturm1917. I recommend “dotted” which gives you lines to work with but isn’t as overwhelming visually as a traditional grid. The dots will allow you to make charts and graphs, but there won’t be lines in the way so you can also doodle.

The paper quality is very good meaning you can use higher quality pens and different styles of pens without bleed through. They also come with attached bookmarks.

Sharpie Fine Pens

I have used lots of different pens in my journals and recently I’ve been using the black Sharpie fine pen as my go-to everyday black pen. I used to use Faber-Castells for this role, but the Sharpie pens last longer for me because the nib doesn’t break off when I press too hard. They are also cheaper and available in more places. I have frequently found them at CVS, for example, so it’s easy to restock them.

Zebra Pen Midliners

My preferred accent pen. When I want to have a splash of color (I keep things pretty minimalistic in my journal) or highlight a heading on a page, I use the Zebra Midliner. They are like highlighters but better. The colors aren’t neon- they are subtle and lovely, and come in a huge variety. They don’t dry out easily and are of high quality. I really recommend them.

Washi Tape

Anytime I create a collection in my bullet journal that I anticipate referring back to a lot...for example my podcast tracker spreads, I wrap the edge of the page in a piece of washi tape. Line it up with the edge of the page and fold it over to the other page. When you shut your notebook, that page will be a little strip of color making it easy to find! Also, washi tape is fun for decorating, taping things into your notebook, creating little tabs, or helping you divide sections of a spread.

Disney Planner Stickers on Etsy

There are lots of amazing stickers for your planner available on Etsy. I like searching for Disney-inspired themes or ones related to vacation planning- like countdown stickers!

My favorite shop is Pretty Sheepy! Her stuff is awesome!
